Technical & Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

About the role

PATH is looking for a Technical & Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to join the Rotary Healthy Communities Challenge (RHCC) project in Mozambique. Based in Tete, the officer will strengthen the routine data pipeline to ensure timely, accurate, and complete surveillance data from project districts.

Key responsibilities

• Collect routine data from multiple sources and update the standard RHCC KPI reporting template.
• Maintain and update the APS monthly summary database.
• Prepare summary outputs for internal and external review and regular project reporting.
• Conduct supervision, data quality assessments (DQAs), and develop district data quality improvement plans.
• Review and support the use of RHCC supervision tools to align with Ministry of Health requirements.
• Facilitate district‑level review meetings and help districts develop and monitor corrective actions.

Required profile

• Experienced professional in technical monitoring and evaluation, preferably in health or community health projects.
• Strong analytical ability to work with routine health data and generate actionable insights.
• Familiarity with iCCM services, community health worker systems, and Ministry of Health reporting frameworks.
• Ability to collaborate with government, NGOs, and international partners.
