About the role
We are seeking a driven Technical Sales Engineer to expand NOV ReedHycalog’s presence in Mozambique. The role combines sales expertise with deep knowledge of drilling technology to deliver high‑performance solutions to our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their drilling plans and operational needs.
- Promote and deliver tailored ReedHycalog solutions to maximise performance and value.
- Identify new business opportunities, support tender processes and expand market share.
- Track market intelligence, competitor activity and product performance.
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure successful tool runs and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the full sales cycle from order processing to invoicing and payment follow‑up.
- Drive revenue growth and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Required profile
- University degree (engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proven sales experience, ideally within oil & gas or drilling environments.
- Strong understanding of drilling, geology or hydraulics is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivation, resilience and a results‑driven mindset.
- Strong problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
