Executive Housekeeper (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Minor Hotels group is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping and laundry operations at Avani Pemba Beach Hotel & Spa. This full‑time position ensures that all guest‑facing and back‑of‑house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire housekeeping and laundry functions of the hotel.
• Set, review, and communicate cleaning standards to all housekeeping staff through effective training.
• Ensure public, guest‑facing, and back‑of‑house areas are consistently clean and well‑maintained.
• Monitor and enforce health and safety requirements throughout the department.
• Maintain up‑to‑date departmental SOPs/LSOPs and make revisions as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management, preferably at a resort or upscale property.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.
