Senior Law Enforcement Mentor – Road & Transit Security

About the role

Sincerus Global Solutions seeks an experienced senior law enforcement mentor to embed with the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) and strengthen security along critical transit corridors in northern Mozambique. The role focuses on road and transit security, helping PRM detect, deter, and respond to terrorist threats on the N1 and N380 highways.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on mentorship to PRM leadership and units responsible for securing the N1 and N380 transit routes.
• Strengthen capabilities in route security, patrol operations, checkpoint management and vehicle interdiction.
• Mentor PRM on detection and disruption of terrorist threats along transit networks.
• Develop leadership, command and control, decision‑making under pressure, and personnel management skills.
• Advise on deployment, use, accountability, maintenance and tracking of program‑provided equipment.
• Support creation of inventory control, maintenance and sustainment systems.
• Guide tactical response to security incidents, high‑risk vehicle stops and coordinated incident response.
• Assist in planning and executing preventive and response operations, structured patrol strategies and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in law enforcement and/or counter‑terrorism operations.
• Proven expertise in transit, patrol or corridor security operations.
• Experience with tactical or specialized units such as critical response or high‑risk operations.
• Background in field leadership, supervisory or command roles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, supervise operations and develop capacity‑building programs.
