Above Ground Risk & QA Supervisor (M/F)

About the role

The Above Ground Risk and Quality Assurance Supervisor will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of the monitoring, quality assurance and risk management framework for the company's socioeconomic development programmes. Reporting to the Planning, Reporting and QA/QC Manager, the role supports cross‑functional teams to ensure social risks are identified, tracked and mitigated.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive monitoring, QA and above‑ground risk management framework.
• Assist socioeconomic development teams in defining, monitoring and evaluating performance indicators.
• Coordinate IT solutions to improve field‑activity monitoring.
• Support Stakeholder Engagement, Resettlement and Social Investment teams in risk assessments and mitigation activities.
• Produce daily, weekly, monthly and annual risk performance reports.
• Identify implementation gaps across programmes and recommend corrective actions.
• Review qualitative engagement reports and media analysis dashboards.
• Monitor implementation partner performance against agreed objectives.
• Develop and execute a 52‑week QA/QC plan and coordinate QA/QC team activities.
• Provide timely social‑risk information to project teams and contribute to preventive and mitigation measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Rural Development, Geography, Data Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Environmental Management or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in social data management, quality assurance, monitoring and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of workflow management and data maintenance processes.
• Experience monitoring and evaluating socioeconomic development programmes.
• Knowledge of international environmental and social performance standards (e.g., IFC, GRI, IPIECA) is an advantage.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken) and Mozambican nationality.
