Auto Electrician – Technical Repair & Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to lead technical repair and maintenance of automobiles, trucks and trailers. The role combines hands‑on electrical work with the responsibility of guiding less‑experienced mechanics and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed electrical diagnostics and repair on cars, trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems to restore vehicle functionality.
• Order required parts and manage inventory for repair jobs.
• Lead repair projects, acting as the primary mechanic on challenging assignments.
• Train and mentor junior mechanics, sharing technical knowledge.
• Ensure all work follows organisational, environmental and safety regulations.
• Serve as a go‑to resource for technical issues across the workshop.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an auto electrician or similar automotive electrical role.
• Ability to lead teams and train less‑experienced staff.
• Strong understanding of safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
