Technical Field Services Engineer (Full-time)

About the role

Versalis International is seeking a Technical Field Services Engineer to lead chemical treatment operations for oil & gas customers in the Pemba district of Mozambique. Reporting to the Branch Manager and the local Project Coordinator, you will ensure that all services meet customer specifications and are delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise oil & gas chemical treatment operations across the region.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, representing Versalis and ensuring service quality.
• Prepare technical reports based on customer requests and coordinate subcontractors and corporate resources.
• Conduct laboratory performance tests on chemicals when required.
• Manage activities of subcontractors and internal teams throughout all projects.

Required profile

• University degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• 5‑7 years of experience in the oil & gas industry focusing on chemical treatments and services.
• Fluent Portuguese and professional level English (minimum B2).
• Strong communication, analytical abilities and a results‑oriented mindset.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and willing to travel as needed.
