Business Analyst & Financial Admin Controller

About the role

The Business Analyst and Financial Admin Controller (BAFAC) will support the regional telecom business in Mozambique by providing data‑driven insights and financial oversight. You will work closely with field and regional teams to optimise performance, manage budgets and help the company win market share.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and interpret data to deliver actionable insights for regional teams.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly structured and ad‑hoc reports aligned with the SnD strategy.
• Manage end‑to‑end reconciliation of distributed stock, including SIM cards, registrations, customer devices and vouchers.
• Plan, monitor and reconcile regional budgets to ensure proper ROI on all projects.
• Collaborate with regional teams to optimise costs, turn around under‑performing sites and maximise profits.
• Maintain thresholds for subscriber acquisition and reload costs to support cost‑conscious growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Experience and knowledge of telecom services, applied in a customer‑focused manner.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills for audiences up to Band F/E.
• Strong analytical, logical and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven with a proactive initiative.
• Active listening and ability to address team concerns.
• Understanding of Profit and Loss (PnL) management from planning to reconciliation.
