Commercial Manager

About the role

VOID is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial strategy for Fidli, its all‑in‑one SaaS platform for SMEs. Based in Maputo, you will drive sales, expand the customer base nationwide, and ensure the product meets the real needs of Mozambican businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and monitor Fidli’s commercial strategy aligned with growth and expansion objectives.
• Lead, motivate and develop the sales team to achieve subscription and retention targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with SMEs, corporate clients and distribution partners.
• Manage the sales pipeline, including demos, negotiations and contract closures.
• Collaborate closely with product and technical teams to align the offering with market demands.
• Produce commercial performance reports (MRR, churn, pipeline) for senior management.
• Represent Fidli at client meetings, partner events and industry conferences.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in senior commercial roles.
• Demonstrated success in defining and executing commercial strategies with measurable results.
• Experience leading and managing sales teams.
• Strong market analysis, strategic planning and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Degree in Management, Marketing, Economics or a related field (advantageous).
