Diesel Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, upkeep, and troubleshooting of diesel and petrol powered machines, motor vehicles, pumps, and generators within the company.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, identify, and rectify mechanical problems on a variety of vehicles and equipment.
• Plan and execute work procedures to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
• Overhaul or replace carburettors, blowers, generators, distributors, starters, and pumps as needed.
• Rebuild critical engine components such as crankshafts and cylinder blocks.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.

Required profile

• Proven experience in diesel and petrol engine maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
