Head of Support Services (Finance, HR & Logistics)

About the role

Based in Maputo, the Head of Support Services will lead the development and management of finance, accounting, human resources and logistics functions for Nitidæ’s expanding portfolio of donor‑funded projects in Mozambique. The role serves as the primary technical liaison with the headquarters team in France.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement administrative, financial, HR and logistics structures and tools to ensure compliance with donor regulations.
• Supervise the support team (currently three staff in Maputo and four in project sites) and strengthen their capacities.
• Develop and maintain tracking tools for financial reporting, audits and payroll processes.
• Act as the main point of contact for the financial controller, HR manager, logistics manager and CFO at headquarters.
• Collaborate with the Country Representative, program teams and technical focal points to align support services with project needs.

Required profile

• Senior professional with extensive experience in managing finance, HR and logistics for NGOs or donor‑funded programmes.
• Proven ability to develop procedures, tools and reporting mechanisms.
• Strong leadership skills to manage a growing support team.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work closely with French‑based headquarters.
