Local Onshore Site Coordinator – Mozambique

About the role

We are seeking an intermediate‑level Local Onshore Site Coordinator to support daily site operations and pre‑commissioning activities at our Afungi project in northern Mozambique. You will work under the supervision of the Site Supervisor and be a key link between on‑site teams and project management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site operations and pre‑commissioning tasks.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel to ensure smooth execution.
• Track work progress and ensure activities are delivered on schedule.
• Guarantee compliance with HSEQ standards for all operations.
• Support reporting, documentation and administrative coordination on site.
• Act as the primary interface between site teams and supervision to facilitate communication and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Solid experience in site coordination within O&G or subsea environments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural and remote project setting.
• Background with major EPCI contractors is valued.
• Valid medical certificate for onshore operations in Africa (OGUK required).
• Fluent English; Portuguese appreciated, French a plus.

What we offer

• Long‑term fixed‑term contract (~20 months, ending Q2 2028) on a major international subsea project.
• 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation within an experienced operations team.
