About the role
The Production Manager will lead and optimise mine production, ensuring that operations are efficient, safe and sustainable while maximising productivity and profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all mine operations, including human resources, materials and equipment.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety and environmental performance.
- Monitor production targets and adjust plans to meet profitability goals.
- Manage day‑to‑day operational issues and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Required profile
- Higher education in Mining Engineering, Geotechnics or Geology.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mining, preferably open‑pit gold mining.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Strong customer focus, leadership and team‑building abilities.
- Willingness to relocate.
Required skills
- Proficiency with mining software: Vulcan, Surpac, AutoCAD, Opit‑Blast and ArcGIS.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools.
