Production Manager – Mining Operations

About the role

The Production Manager will lead and optimise mine production, ensuring that operations are efficient, safe and sustainable while maximising productivity and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all mine operations, including human resources, materials and equipment.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety and environmental performance.
• Monitor production targets and adjust plans to meet profitability goals.
• Manage day‑to‑day operational issues and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Higher education in Mining Engineering, Geotechnics or Geology.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mining, preferably open‑pit gold mining.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Strong customer focus, leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Willingness to relocate.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mining software: Vulcan, Surpac, AutoCAD, Opit‑Blast and ArcGIS.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools.
