Quantity Surveyor – Contracts & Procurement

About the role

Airswift is seeking a Quantity Surveyor specialized in Contracts & Procurement to support the Lead Contract Engineer on a major LNG EPC project in Mozambique. You will be based on‑site, working a 28‑day on/28‑day off rotation, and will play a key role in administering EPC contracts and managing change orders.

Key responsibilities

• Administer EPC contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Maintain change‑order logs and support Contract Engineers in correspondence.
• Review, validate and quantify change‑order requests.
• Analyse contractor proposals and recommend actions to project teams.
• Prepare evidence for change orders and amendments according to project procedures.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate requirements into change orders.
• Process monthly payment applications and verify contractor invoices.
• Provide technical and contractual support to the site management team.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years (preferred 10 years) of experience in contract administration for EPC/EPCC construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction law relevant to international oil & gas projects.
• Proven ability to manage technical issues on‑site and deliver analytical solutions.
