Restaurant Supervisor – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor oversees daily operations of the assigned restaurant at Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort, ensuring exceptional guest service that aligns with Anantara brand standards. This role bridges the Restaurant Manager and front‑line team, coordinating shifts, maintaining quality, and driving a personalised guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise restaurant opening, service flow, table allocation and closing procedures, ensuring all operational standards are met.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, handle requests and complaints, and communicate VIP or special dietary needs to the team.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings, allocate duties, coach staff, and track attendance, grooming and uniform compliance.
• Ensure hygiene, health and safety compliance, report incidents, and support corrective actions.
• Control stock, monitor wastage, assist with inventory counts and support cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in restaurant or F&B operations, with prior supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards, food safety and hygiene requirements.
