Restaurant Supervisor – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the assigned restaurant at Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort, ensuring exceptional guest service that aligns with Anantara brand standards. This role acts as the key link between the Restaurant Manager and the operational team, coordinating shifts, maintaining service quality, and fostering a warm, personalised guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring preparation, service flow and efficient table allocation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, handle requests and resolve complaints in line with Anantara standards.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings, allocate duties, coach team members and oversee attendance, grooming and uniform compliance.
• Maintain hygiene, health and safety compliance, report incidents and support departmental inspections.
• Control stock, monitor wastage, assist with inventory counts and support cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in restaurant or F&B operations, with supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene requirements and restaurant service standards.

Required skills

• Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English (Portuguese advantageous).
• Good organisational, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
