Technical Pre‑Sales Consultant – ICT (Maputo)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Pre‑Sales Consultant to join a leading ICT Managed Services Provider in Maputo. In this role you will bridge the gap between sales and technical teams, designing and presenting tailored technology solutions that meet clients' business and technical needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design technical solutions and prepare Bills of Materials (BoMs) based on client requirements.
• Conduct discovery sessions, gather business and technical requirements, and translate them into practical designs.
• Support the sales team throughout the pre‑sales cycle with expert advice, solution proposals, and tender submissions.
• Collaborate with internal Technical, Projects, and Procurement teams to ensure solution feasibility.
• Engage with vendors to obtain technical support and validate solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to prospective and existing clients.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in pre‑sales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, routing & switching, storage, and server technologies.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and create clear, compelling solution designs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field (preferred).
