Tractor Operator

About the role

The Tractor Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating agricultural tractors and related equipment used in sugar‑cane loading, hauling, field preparation, and other logistical activities. The role ensures timely execution of field and transport operations, supports harvesting workflows, and keeps the tractor in good working condition through daily inspections and proper use.

Key responsibilities

• Operate tractors and attached implements for sugar‑cane loading, hauling and field preparation.
• Perform daily safety and mechanical inspections of the tractor and report any issues.
• Coordinate with harvest and logistics teams to ensure timely movement of material.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, fuel consumption and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures while working in the field.
• Assist with minor repairs and routine maintenance to prolong equipment life.
