Tyre Assistant

About the role

The Tyre Assistant will support Unitrans Passenger by ensuring all vehicle tyres and related components are maintained to the highest safety standards. This role involves regular inspections, testing, and reporting to prevent downtime and enhance passenger safety.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect tyre components such as rims, hubs, studs, and nuts for excessive wear, cracks, or damage.
• Examine tyre beads for signs of damage and ensure proper seating.
• Conduct periodic tyre performance tests and record results.
• Report any issues and recommend corrective actions to maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Attention to detail and ability to follow inspection procedures.
• Basic understanding of vehicle tyre systems.
• Physical ability to handle tyre components safely.
