Business Manager

About the role

The Business Manager will partner with the senior leadership team to drive strategy execution, business planning and governance across the organisation. By handling day‑to‑day operational complexities, the role frees up executives to focus on high‑impact decisions while ensuring consistent delivery on key priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of strategic plans, annual budgets and performance frameworks aligned with organisational objectives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives, track progress and provide timely reporting and insights to senior leadership.
• Prepare and deliver executive communications such as performance updates, board papers, presentations and briefing materials.
• Lead the planning, governance and follow‑up of Tier 1 management forums and executive meetings, managing agendas, actions and stakeholder engagement.
• Act as the primary liaison for COO data, ensuring accurate communication between executives, employees, clients and external partners.
• Extract, validate and analyse complex datasets, turning data into actionable insights for strategic decision‑making.
• Support implementation of COO strategic projects and transformation initiatives, monitoring milestones and risks.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards, KPIs and reporting tools to provide visibility into business performance.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance processes, reporting, governance and data quality.
• Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality and integrity of business information in line with governance and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Proven ability to support senior leadership in strategy execution and business planning.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience handling large, complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Track record of coordinating cross‑functional projects and delivering clear, actionable reports.
