Consultant – Coordination of Last Mile Supply Monitoring System (Mozambique)

About the role

The consultancy aims to ensure effective coordination, performance monitoring and optimisation of the Last Mile Supply Monitoring (LMSM) system in Mozambique, beginning in Cabo Delgado and supporting readiness for national scale‑up. The consultant will serve as the central coordination focal point, institutionalising and sustaining LMSM across all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate governance mechanisms for LMSM implementation.
• Provide post‑go‑live system implementation support.
• Monitor performance and manage data quality.
• Supervise field activities and provide on‑site support.
• Build capacity through training and supportive supervision.
• Facilitate data use, reporting and dashboard management.
• Support scale‑up planning and execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Data Management or Information Systems.
• Minimum 5 years experience with supply‑chain systems, eLMIS or digital health platforms, and field implementation in humanitarian settings.
• Proven experience working with governments, development partners or UN agencies.
• Fluency in Portuguese and working knowledge of English.
• Demonstrated competencies in partnership building, results orientation, collaboration and accountability.
