Consultant to Facilitate 2026 Retreat for UN Women Country Office

About the role

UN Women is seeking an experienced consultant to design and facilitate its 2026 strategic retreat for the Country Office in Mozambique. The retreat will bring together staff, partners and stakeholders to align on gender‑equality outcomes and the national development agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the retreat agenda, methodology and facilitation tools in line with UN Women’s Strategic Note and national priorities.
• Coordinate logistics, participant engagement and documentation of outcomes.
• Lead interactive sessions, ensuring inclusive participation of women, youth and vulnerable groups.
• Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations for the 2026 work plan.

Required profile

• Proven experience facilitating high‑level retreats or workshops for UN agencies or international NGOs.
• Strong understanding of gender equality, women’s empowerment and the UN development framework.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to the Mozambican context.
