Core & VAS Planning Engineer

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Core & VAS Planning Engineer to design, plan and implement core network and value‑added service solutions. You will ensure the network remains capacity‑rich, reliable and scalable to support business growth and new services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end planning, design, deployment, stabilization and handover of Core & VAS projects.
• Develop scalable, resilient and cost‑effective technical solutions aligned with business and network strategies.
• Perform capacity planning and technology evolution to keep the network ready for current and future demand.
• Coordinate technical implementation, including vendor management, testing, acceptance and engineering governance.
• Produce and maintain engineering documentation and ensure knowledge transfer for successful handover to Operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Core Network and/or VAS planning and engineering within a telecom environment.
• Proven experience in network design, capacity planning, deployment, testing and operational handover.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with effective stakeholder management.
