Deputy Site Quality Control Manager

About the role

The Deputy Site Quality Control Manager supports the implementation and monitoring of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) on construction sites. Reporting to the Company Quality Manager, the role acts as the central point for all quality‑related matters, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute PQMS activities and project quality control (QC) actions.
• Prepare, distribute and maintain Project Quality Plans and procedures in line with the Company QMS.
• Coordinate and conduct quality audits, including external audits of vendors and subcontractors.
• Allocate and manage quality resources across project areas.
• Support the Project Manager in client and authority interactions concerning quality.
• Develop and issue QC specifications, monitor non‑conformities, and drive corrective and improvement actions.
• Lead quality training, awareness campaigns and the Project Quality Management Review.
• Collect, analyse and report project quality data, ensuring lessons learned are captured.

Required profile

• Proven experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality control processes, audit planning and non‑conformance management.
• Ability to coordinate with technical departments, clients, vendors and regulatory authorities.
• Excellent communication skills and capability to lead quality teams.
