Field Manager

About the role

GiveDirectly is seeking a Field Manager to lead on‑the‑ground operations for its cash‑transfer projects in the Mugovolas District of Nampula, Mozambique. You will be the primary point of contact for the Program Manager, overseeing enrollment, performance tracking, and continuous improvement of field activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end enrollment process and follow‑up activities for beneficiaries.
• Track and report on field team performance, ensuring targets are met.
• Mentor and develop Associate Field Managers, fostering a culture of professional growth.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, proposing process enhancements.
• Synthesize regular updates on operational health for senior leadership.
• Manage day‑to‑day ground operations, including logistics, data collection, and stakeholder coordination.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing field teams in development or humanitarian contexts.
• Strong organizational and personnel‑management abilities.
• Excellent judgment in addressing operational challenges.
• Commitment to building a scalable, efficient field organization.
• Willingness to reside and work full‑time in Mugovolas District.
