HSSE Officer Tempo Inteiro

About the role

Join TotalEnergies' Mozambique affiliate as a full‑time HSSE Officer. You will work in a high‑risk industrial environment, supporting safe and sustainable operations across strategic terminal sites.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSSE policies, standards and action plans to ensure compliance with company rules and international regulations.
• Coordinate incident and accident investigations, analyse root causes and track corrective actions to completion.
• Oversee environmental monitoring (energy, water, waste, fuel) and support environmental action plans with local stakeholders.
• Assist operational teams with risk assessments, audits, emergency response planning and safety compliance.
• Promote a strong safety culture through training, awareness activities and enforcement of safety rules.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in industrial operations, preferably oil & gas or chemical sectors.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HSSE standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Risk assessment and incident investigation expertise.
• Data analysis and reporting capability.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
