Legal Manager

About the role

The Legal Manager will provide commercially‑oriented legal and regulatory advice across the business unit, country or zone. You will act as the primary legal partner for multiple functions, ensuring that contracts, litigation, compliance and IP matters are managed effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to various business functions as required.
• Draft, review and execute legal contracts.
• Manage litigation matters across relevant markets and coordinate with external counsel.
• Oversee legal fees and liaise with external lawyers.
• Assist in compliance and company‑policy training for staff.
• Guide sales, marketing, finance and procurement teams on legal and statutory requirements.
• Conduct legal research related to day‑to‑day transactions.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and take appropriate action.
• Ensure company compliance with all applicable codes, statutes and regulations.
• Develop materials for new product licences and licence renewals.
• Manage intellectual‑property issues and develop legal strategy for relevant markets.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.)
• Master’s degree (preferred)
• 5+ years of post‑qualification legal experience
• Experience in a top‑tier law firm or a global/regional corporation
• Demonstrated expertise in compliance and legal matters
