Packaging Machine Specialist

About the role

The Packaging Machine Specialist ensures that packaging equipment operates as if it were brand‑new, delivering reliable performance in a fast‑moving FMCG environment. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and coaching operators to achieve zero‑defect production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on packaging machinery.
• Identify root causes of failures, implement corrective actions, and close loops.
• Maintain safety, health, and environmental standards, conduct safety inspections, and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Manage maintenance backlog, generate work tags, and ensure zero re‑work for customers.
• Coach operators on correct equipment usage and autonomous operation.
• Maintain workshop tools and ensure they are in good working order.

Required profile

• Technical high school qualification in Mechanics and Electricity.
• 1‑3 years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience in a bottling or FMCG environment.
• Basic proficiency in English.
• Efficient, communicative, dynamic, and strong sense of responsibility.
