Principal Field Professional – Reservoir Evaluation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Field Professional to lead reservoir evaluation and well‑support activities for a major global energy services provider. The role combines technical expertise, customer interaction, and project leadership to deliver high‑value field services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute multi‑Product Service Line (PSL) jobs, including reservoir evaluation, well support, and post‑job analysis.
• Provide technical and operational expertise to external customers on‑site, ensuring high service quality.
• Lead pre‑planning, execution, and performance review of field assets, maintaining schedules and managing career development of associate and senior field professionals.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques, represent the organization in technical conferences, and negotiate with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Business Development to keep customers informed of technology advances and drive process improvements.
• Initiate, review, and close corrective, preventive, and improvement actions (CPIs) and contribute inventions or patents.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Physics, Geology or Mathematics.
• Minimum 8 years of field operations experience, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
• Professional/Chartered Engineer certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate creative engineering judgment, and solve complex problems efficiently.
