Process Artisan

About the role

The Process Artisan is responsible for operating a production process area in line with detailed work instructions. The role includes performing non‑destructive quality checks, routine equipment maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement of process performance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the process area according to work instructions and usage standards.
• Carry out required quality checks and record results in the appropriate system.
• Monitor waste, record trends and report opportunities for improvement.
• Respond quickly to upstream or downstream triggers that cause stoppages.
• Apply problem‑solving methods as defined in the work practice.
• Perform housekeeping tasks, apply 5S principles and follow safe work practices.
• Conduct in‑depth cleaning, lubrication and inspection of machines per maintenance schedules.
• Execute routine maintenance activities and escalate larger issues to the team leader.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance days, post‑mortems and trend analysis.
