Project Manager – Construction (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects in Afungi, Mozambique. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling all human and material resources to ensure safe, high‑quality delivery within schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with the project owner and internal teams to allocate resources efficiently.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Control costs and optimise economic performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Report status and performance metrics to senior management.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction, including at least 5 years in project management.
• Proven experience working with a Project Office or similar governance structure.
• Fluent English (mandatory) and willingness to relocate.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using MS Project for scheduling.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD for design review.
• Familiarity with SAP for cost and resource management.
