Remote Video Game Composer (Full-time/Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a visionary composer to create dynamic, immersive music that defines the sonic identity of our upcoming video game titles. Working remotely, you will craft thematic material that aligns with narrative, characters, and environments, and build adaptive music systems that react to player choices.

Key responsibilities

• Compose and produce original high‑quality scores ranging from ambient environments to intense combat and cinematic themes.
• Develop interactive musical layers and stems that adapt in real time to gameplay changes.
• Collaborate with narrative designers, producers, and sound designers to ensure music supports mood and pacing.
• Integrate musical assets into game engines and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD) with seamless loops and transitions.
• Iterate quickly on mixes based on feedback and playtesting.
• Organize, label, and deliver all audio files according to technical specifications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience composing music for video games with a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Fully equipped professional home studio capable of delivering studio‑standard assets.
• Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton, or Pro Tools.
• Experience integrating music in Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Familiarity with audio middleware like Wwise or FMOD.
• Deep knowledge of music theory, orchestration, arrangement, and high‑quality virtual instrument libraries.
