Senior Director – Power Operations

About the role

CBE Southern Africa is seeking a qualified Senior Director – Power Operations to strategically plan, lead, organise and control critical power‑plant activities, ensuring efficient, clean and safe generation and uninterrupted distribution of power, steam and compressed air to its smelter, desalination facilities and external high‑voltage customers.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically plan, lead, organise and control critical power‑plant operations.
• Ensure efficient, clean and safe generation and uninterrupted distribution of power, steam and compressed air to internal and external customers.
• Optimise fuel usage, maintain operational excellence and support energy‑management initiatives within a complex manufacturing environment.
