About the role

CBE Southern Africa seeks a qualified General Superintendent – Power Operations to work alongside the Shift Charge Engineer, ensuring efficient, safe and effective operation of power generation and water production for the Smelter Complex and third‑party customers.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate with the Shift Charge Engineer to optimise power generation and water production processes.
Support safe isolation and normalisation of high‑voltage (HV) and low‑voltage (LV) systems.
Maintain continuous and reliable energy supply for the Midstream/Energy function.
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
