Senior Operations Coordinator – TRS (Mozambique)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Operations Coordinator for our TRS team in Mozambique. The role will ensure the smooth execution of operations by coordinating manpower, equipment, materials and logistics in line with client requirements and project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to determine personnel and equipment needs and arrange mobilisation according to deadlines.
• Advise clients on operational or equipment limitations and propose practical alternatives.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, certified and fit for purpose.
• Plan manpower requirements, support recruitment of staff or contract personnel as needed.
• Monitor equipment, manpower and related costs, flagging budget issues promptly.
• Gather cost and usage data for accurate and timely invoicing.
• Coordinate third‑party services and equipment within the assigned location.
• Maintain required documentation and data accuracy for company and client procedures.
• Supervise direct reports where applicable and participate in on‑call rotation for 24‑hour operational coverage.
• Communicate with clients, operational teams, management and internal departments to ensure safe, on‑time task completion.

Required profile

• Formal technical qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent).
• Minimum of 7 years of technical experience in operations, logistics or related fields.
• Strong understanding of equipment certification and maintenance requirements.
• Experience coordinating manpower and resources for large‑scale projects.
• Ability to monitor budgets and manage invoicing processes.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Mozambique and participate in on‑call rotations.
