Senior Purchaser (M/F) – Oil & Gas

About the role

The Senior Purchaser will support the CPL Manager and the C&P Business Services Manager in managing the end‑to‑end procurement process for goods, services and technical assistance solutions (TAS) within a multinational oil & gas company. The role ensures compliance with corporate policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices while protecting the company’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to define technical requirements and prepare tender documentation.
• Execute the source‑to‑contract process, including call for tender, evaluation, and award recommendation.
• Issue contracts, purchase orders, and service orders, and manage the pre‑contract and post‑contract phases.
• Negotiate with suppliers, monitor delivery performance, and resolve contractual changes.
• Maintain procurement data in SAP and keep the supplier database up to date.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal rules, applicable laws, and company terms and conditions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior‑level procurement or purchasing, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
• Strong understanding of contract management, tender processes, and supplier relationship management.
• Ability to work confidentially, communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
