Senior Technical Officer – Health Emergency Management

About the role

The Senior Technical Officer will provide technical leadership and support for health emergency management projects. This role involves guiding project design, ensuring quality assurance, and contributing to business development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall technical direction to project staff, develop technical briefs, reports, and tools, and ensure adherence to company SOPs.
• Monitor and maintain project protocols, data sets, manuals, and training materials, and conduct analyses to identify improvement areas.
• Lead technical aspects of project design and implementation, oversee budgets and work plans, and represent the project in client/funder meetings.
• Support business development by drafting proposals, budgets, and work plans, and by collecting data for proposal development.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of technical support for research studies and quality standards.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and project management abilities with the capacity to influence and collaborate.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with sensitivity to cultural diversity and ethical considerations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using database management software and online search tools.
