Trainee Workshop & Maintenance Technician (TRS)

About the role

Expro is looking for motivated Mozambican graduates to join its Tubular Running Services (TRS) team as a Trainee Workshop & Maintenance Technician. Under direct supervision, you will gain hands‑on experience maintaining, repairing and moving equipment used in oil and gas operations, building a solid foundation for a career as a qualified technician.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of workshop equipment according to company quality and certification standards.
• Support rigging up, building and rigging down of equipment as required for operational tasks.
• Complete documentation accurately for foreman/supervisor review.
• Report incidents, non‑conformances and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace through daily housekeeping.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
• Basic understanding of oil and gas field operations is an advantage.
• Willingness to work both offshore and onshore.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to work in multicultural teams.
