About the role
We are seeking a highly organized Warehouse Responsible to lead our warehousing operations in Pemba. You will ensure smooth, safe, and efficient daily processes while driving continuous improvement and team performance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Supervise goods‑in/goods‑out and order picking to guarantee accuracy and minimize damage.
- Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and system alignment.
- Implement and improve warehouse processes, ensuring on‑time delivery.
- Monitor safety, security, and 5S housekeeping standards.
- Track inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high‑performing warehouse team.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Technical, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills in English.
- Proactive, results‑driven mindset with the ability to lead and motivate others.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with warehouse management systems.
