About the role
The WASH Team Leader will lead the design, implementation and monitoring of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene programmes within World Vision Mozambique, ensuring alignment with national strategies and global standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and revision of the WASH component of the Integrated Programme Framework, collaborating with regional and global offices.
- Provide technical oversight and capacity building for project staff and partners to ensure high‑quality programme delivery.
- Manage WASH budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure timely reporting and compliance with donor requirements.
- Conduct regular field visits, technical support trips and data reviews to monitor implementation and address issues.
- Lead the preparation of impact reports, use the mWater platform for data management, and contribute to evidence‑based decision‑making.
Required profile
- Proven experience in leading WASH programmes at national or regional level.
- Strong knowledge of international WASH guidelines, standards and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including donors, government and NGOs.
