Women in Accounting Graduate Program – 2-year JVA Training

About the role

Sasol is launching a two‑year Women in Accounting programme designed for recent university graduates. The initiative aims to develop specialised Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) expertise for the oil and gas sector while providing broad exposure to finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the integrity of general accounts and ledger structures at both asset and Sasol‑share levels.
• Apply SAP FI and SAP JVA modules to align financial data with management reporting objectives.
• Prepare financial information for Sasol reporting, including compliance meeting packs, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, financial statements, GL reconciliations, management accounting, accounts receivable, fixed‑asset and asset‑performance reports, and ad‑hoc tasks.
• Produce asset‑level reporting materials such as committee meeting packs, monthly partner joint billing statements, cash calls, asset performance reports, annual work programmes, budgets, and capital reporting.
• Familiarise with internal SOX controls and ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, or Auditing.
• Recent graduate with no prior work experience required.
• Strong analytical mindset and willingness to develop professional accounting skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP FI.
• Experience or training in SAP JVA module.
