Assistant Executive Housekeeper (Full‑time)

About the role

Join the hospitality team at Avani Pemba Beach Hotel & Spa as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper. You will work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure the hotel’s housekeeping and laundry operations run smoothly and meet the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in planning manpower requirements, aligning labor usage with business needs and seasonal trends.
• Prepare annual budgets for housekeeping and laundry departments.
• Support the overall management of housekeeping and laundry functions, ensuring efficient daily operations.
• Conduct routine inspections of all housekeeping areas together with supervisory staff.
• Guarantee that public, guest‑facing, and back‑of‑house areas are consistently clean and well‑maintained.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor that all staff follow departmental SOPs and LSOPs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or similar hospitality operations.
• Ability to plan staffing levels and manage budgets.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards in a hotel environment.
• Attention to detail for inspections and quality control.
• Good communication skills to ensure SOP adherence across the team.
