Contract Management Specialist

About the role

The Contract Management Specialist is responsible for administering the commercial and contractual aspects of projects, overseeing subcontractors, and supporting change orders, claims, and dispute resolution. Reporting to the Contracts Manager and operationally to the Project Director, this individual contributor ensures that liabilities and legal obligations are properly defined, executed, and reported.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contractual and commercial aspects of the prime contract from award through close‑out.
• Maintain a commercial baseline and contract summary documentation.
• Implement and drive an effective change‑management process, coordinating with project teams and functional groups.
• Identify, develop, and review contract changes for the client, incorporating subcontractor changes as needed.
• Collect and preserve contemporaneous project records to support potential claims and change requests.
• Apply risk‑management, contract‑management, and value‑improvement processes in line with company procedures.
• Prepare input for contract amendments, change orders, and related documentation.
• Perform general administration tasks such as minute‑taking and ensuring compliance with contract and CMS requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in contract administration, change order management, and claims handling within project environments.
• Ability to work closely with project managers, legal teams, and subcontractors.
• Strong organizational skills for record‑keeping and documentation.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
