About the role
The Human Resources Operations Administrator will manage the day‑to‑day HR office in Beira, delivering operational support across the country programme. The role centres on HR information systems, payroll processing and accurate HR data management to ensure compliant and timely services.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for HR queries in the Beira office and maintain up‑to‑date employee files, both physical and electronic.
- Prepare employment contracts, letters and other HR documentation for hires, transfers, changes and exits.
- Support recruitment administration, including posting vacancies, scheduling interviews and compiling interview packs.
- Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding, ensuring all documentation and system updates are completed.
- Administer the HRIS, entering, verifying and auditing employee data and generating reports on headcount, turnover, leave and demographics.
- Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs, liaise with Finance, reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, internal policies and audit requirements, and assist with internal and external HR audits.
- Provide responsive support to employees and line managers on payroll, leave, benefits and HR policies, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Act as a super‑user for HR systems, supporting user training, troubleshooting and recommending enhancements.
