Program Execution Consultant – Digital Payments

About the role

The Strategic Growth Program seeks a Program Execution Consultant to support digital payments initiatives in Maputo. Working on‑site for a 12‑month contract, you will act as the local bridge between the central program team and day‑to‑day execution, ensuring that credit‑card acquisition and spend‑activation campaigns are tailored to the Mozambican market.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all program activities in Mozambique.
• Coordinate workshops, working sessions and review meetings with internal teams (Marketing, Cards, Risk, Operations).
• Maintain the local activity tracker, flag risks and escalate blockers to the central PMO with recommended solutions.
• Collect market data, provide contextual intelligence and validate benchmarking findings.
• Support the design, tracking and reporting of spend‑activation campaigns.
• Deliver regular status updates, field reports and post‑campaign analyses to the central PMO.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in banking or financial services.
• Background in consulting or managing multi‑workstream programs.
• Experience with credit‑card portfolio management, spend‑activation campaigns or customer‑lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of regional financial services and retail payments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across banking and corporate environments.
