Completions Field Engineer – Sand Control

About the role

The Completions Field Engineer/Specialist – Sand Control is responsible for delivering safe, efficient and reliable sand‑control solutions to customers in the field. This role involves installing and maintaining a range of sand‑control technologies, analysing job risks and driving continuous improvement on service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sand‑control services such as Open‑Hole Gravel Pack, Cased‑Hole Gravel Pack and Stand‑Alone Screens using ASST Service Tools.
• Install and service equipment including Sandface Packers, Anti‑Swab Extensions, Torque‑Through Quick Connect, Formation Isolation Valves, Gravel Pack/Fracpac Screens, Y‑Manifold, PBRs and Wash‑Down Shoes.
• Participate in job risk analysis, HSE and quality initiatives, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain customer contacts, promote SLB products and services, and contribute to service quality meetings.
• Perform self‑assessments, wellsite inspections and implement corrective action plans.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in a technical, engineering or related field.
• 8–15 years of experience in sand‑control operations, including offshore field installations.
• Proven ability to provide innovative technical solutions and support to customers.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work collaboratively in dynamic environments.
