Field Coordinator – Mozambique

About the role

The Field Coordinator will support the implementation of Action contre la Faim’s country strategy in the northern region of Mozambique, overseeing programme delivery and team performance on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ACF country strategy implementation at field level (North base).
• Oversee overall programme implementation at field level.
• Manage and supervise the field team.
• Facilitate strong relationships with Area and Coordination teams.
• Represent ACF and liaise with regional authorities, UN agencies and NGOs.
• Ensure accurate reporting and effective communication.
• Manage security arrangements for staff and operations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in development, humanitarian aid, international relations or a related field.
• Minimum two years of field experience in humanitarian project management (e.g., Grants, Program Manager, Program Coordinator).
• Proven experience in project cycle and team management.
• Knowledge of ACF sectors such as Nutrition & Health, WASH, Food Security, Emergency response, or MHPSS.
• Strong experience in partner engagement and coordination.
• Fluent in English and able to speak Portuguese (or commit to learn); Spanish or Italian is a plus.

What we offer

• 12‑month fixed‑term contract under French legislation.
• Monthly gross salary ranging from €2,597 to €2,968, plus a 13th month.
