Mozambique FMCG Sales Specialist

About the role

The FMCG Sales Specialist will drive growth of fast‑moving consumer goods across Mozambique, focusing on both existing and new clients in Nampula and Maputo. The role combines client relationship management, market intelligence, and end‑to‑end order coordination to increase market share.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain stable relationships with existing clients, monitor sales progress and prompt timely replenishment orders.
• Develop new business by persuading potential clients to visit factories in Tanzania or Zambia and close new orders.
• Support clients in expanding their local businesses and help increase the brand’s market share.
• Track local market dynamics, conduct regular research, produce market reports and adjust regional strategies.
• Assist clients throughout the full order process, including confirmation, transportation, cargo loading, customs clearance and post‑arrival follow‑up.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in the FMCG industry with deep knowledge of the Mozambican market.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of product import policies and procedures in Mozambique.
• Resident of Mozambique, able to be permanently based in Nampula and Maputo.
