Packaging Technical Expert

About the role

The Packaging Technical Expert will lead systematic improvements in equipment reliability for selected packaging machine groups, focusing on bottle fillers, washers and labelers. You will work closely with zone technical experts, vendors and brewery personnel to optimise maintenance costs and ensure safe, high‑quality production.

Key responsibilities

• Restore equipment to "as‑new" condition, eliminating forced deterioration.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programmes to improve reliability.
• Optimise medium‑ and long‑term maintenance plans, spare‑parts inventory and budget compliance.
• Collaborate with zone technical experts, vendors and reverse‑engineering coordinators on cost‑saving initiatives.
• Codify technical knowledge through SOPs and SWIs.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to specification.

Required profile

• Engineering degree.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a packaging maintenance team.
• Proven ability to work under pressure with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities, capable of influencing at all organisational levels.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
